NEWSLETTER
With the newsletter we inform you about us and our offers.

If you would like to receive the newsletter, we require a valid email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. No further data will be collected. This data is only used for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time. The revocation can be made via a link in the newsletters themselves, in your profile area or by sending a message to the contact options above. Double opt-in and logging

Registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in process. This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail in which you are asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with other people’s e-mail addresses. The registrations for the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with the legal requirements. This includes the storage of the registration and confirmation time, as well as the IP address. Changes to your data stored with MailChimp are also logged.

USE OF THE “MAILCHIMP” DISPATCH SERVICE PROVIDER
The newsletter is sent using “MailChimp”, a newsletter sending platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. The email addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in this notice, are stored on MailChimp’s servers in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. Furthermore, according to its own information, MailChimp may use this data to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimisation of the dispatch and the presentation of the newsletters or for economic purposes in order to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass it on to third parties. We trust in the reliability and IT and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement “Privacy Shield” and thus undertakes to comply with the EU data protection regulations. Furthermore, we have concluded a “Data Processing Agreement” with MailChimp. This is a contract in which MailChimp undertakes to protect the data of our users, to process it on our behalf in accordance with its data protection provisions and, in particular, not to pass it on to third parties. You can view MailChimp’s privacy policy here.

COOKIES
When users access the website, one or more cookies are stored on their computer. A cookie is a small file that contains a certain string of characters and uniquely identifies your browser. With the help of cookies, the provider improves the comfort and quality of its service, for example by saving user settings. Cookies do not cause any damage to the user’s computer and do not contain viruses.

It is also possible to use the service without cookies. Users can deactivate the storage of cookies in their browser, restrict them to certain websites or set their browser to notify them before a cookie is stored. You can delete cookies from your computer’s hard drive at any time using the data protection functions of your browser. In this case, the functions and user-friendliness of the offer may be restricted.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by the users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

In the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, Google will truncate the user’s IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymisation is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the use of the website by users, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Users may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on their browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Users may also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the website (including their IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

USE OF FACEBOOK SOCIAL PLUGINS
This offer uses social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins are recognisable by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile or a “thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins.

When a user calls up a website of this offer that contains such a plugin, his browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser, which then integrates it into the website. The provider therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore informs users according to its level of knowledge:

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has called up the corresponding page of the offer. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his or her Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from their browser to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and store his or her IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymised IP address is stored in Switzerland.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as the related rights and settings options for protecting the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about him or her via this offer and link it to his or her membership data stored with Facebook, he or she must log out of Facebook before visiting the website.

It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example with the “Facebook Blocker”.

REVOCATION, CHANGES, CORRECTIONS AND UPDATES
The user has the right, upon request and free of charge, to receive information about the personal data that has been stored about him or her. In addition, the user has the right to correct incorrect data, block and delete his/her personal data, provided that this does not conflict with any legal obligation to retain data.
